If I could put a lower score I would.
My son was seen by another pediatrician , he was wonderful. Very receptive, always respectful, always ready to listen. Would make suggestions based on visiting with my child.
Now we see Dr Strim.
She is belittling, condescending and took no time to know our child. Her first move as our new pediatrician was to send him for an unnecessary follow up hearing test.
First Dr discussed with us weather to do it or not. With my son's birth it was a suggestion, but he was and is progressing with no trouble. The three of us decided it was not necessary unless we noted any issues with his speech development.
The Dr at the adiology office told us there was nothing conclusive. He can hear.
The whole test was unnecessary.
Dr Strim will only go by a book. She will not think about what is best for the individual, she will only go by the book. She will only go by what is suggested.
She will speak down to you, speak over you, and not listen to you.
If you question her directions she becomes defensive. She will only tell you "this is the way I was trained ".
I will be asking to be transferred to anotther pediatrician in the office. Other wise we will change offices entirely.
